Miami Airport

Hi Everybody!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Yesterday I left Mount Pleasant in the early afternoon with my step father, Mike. We met my dad, Charles in Hannibal, MO at the McDonald's. I had my last french fry and took a quick picture of it with my phone and emailed it to myself because I'm that cool. :)

Last French Fry

After taking this picture, I had to surrender my beloved cell phone. It was very sad. :( I'm rather attached to it. But I see how it might be silly to bring it along to place where I won't have service. but still. sigh.

So, from Hannibal, Dad and I drove down to St. Louis. We had to make a quick stop at best buy to get a card reader so I can put pictures online for you all to see. :D yay pictures!

My dad, my step-mom and I went out to eat at ... hmmm ... I believe it was Texas Roadhouse ... well, it was something like that lol peanuts and steak lol. Anyway, it was yummy. :)

Then I had to make a quick Wal-Mart run because of course I forgot stuff or just didn't get it before I left. Sigh.

After that, we went to Dad's house where I attempted to stuff my Wally World purchases into my already full luggage. Quite the adventure that was!

I went to bed as soon as I got everything packed away, but 4:30 came very early this morning. Daddy took me to the airport and we said an almost tearful goodbye after I got my boarding passes and checked my bags. Love you Daddy. <3

Security took a very long time to get through. I didn't have any problems, but it seemed like everyone else did. By the time I got to my gate they were already boarding. The flight from St. Louis to Miami was nice. I was seated next to a couple who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were on their way to Puerto Rico. They held hands nearly the whole flight. How sweet is that? I hope my husband holds my hand all the time when we're old. I love little old couples that just radiate happiness and love like that. Perhaps that means I'm romantic, but perhaps I actually am. ;)

Oh, and I think Mike Huckabee was on my flight! lol Maybe not, but a man that looks exactly like him was, so maybe! He was travelling with several people including a very cute little girl who thought that he should carry her backpack all the way to "Costa Weeca". (costa rica) Well, anyway, if it was him, he was nice and flying coach. :)

So that brings you up to date! I'm sitting here typing this in the Miami airport while chatting with people (andy) on facebook!
